After a 12-hour journey, the baby birds and our team reached Žuvintas. The juveniles were carefully examined by ornithologist Vitalij, who has many years of experience in growing insectivorous birds. Some of the chicks seemed weak after the trip, but our team took all possible measure to help them to recover. One bird is still being looked after separately. His appearance and behaviour have improved so we hope he can recover.
