Floating birdwatching hides – for use by tourism operators in the Nemunas Delta

Nature tourism service providers operating in the Nemunas Delta are invited to enrich their offerings with a unique birdwatching and photography experience. Through the LIFE project “LIFE MagniDucatusAcrola”, we offer the use of floating hides designed for wildlife observation and photography in shallow water areas, such as flooded meadows and wetlands.

What is offered

Tourism operators can use floating hides free of charge for use in their services. The only condition is that the hides are used within the Nemunas Delta region and for nature tourism purposes, following the Code of Ethics for Nature Photographers.

Available equipment:

  • Inflatable floating hide: Product info
  • Non-inflatable, modular floating hide: Product info
  • Both hides come equipped with a Benro GH2 camera holder for stable photography.

 

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to nature tourism operators (e.g., birdwatching, wildlife guides) working in or around the Nemunas Delta.

How to apply

To request a floating hide:

  1. Read the Code of Ethics for Nature Photographers.
  2. Fill in the booking form.
  3. Agree to use the hide safely, ethically, and in accordance with local nature protection rules.
