Project presented in LIFE projects fair in Vilnius

On May 9th, the aquatic warbler conservation project was presented at the LIFE projects fair in Vilnius. At the information stand the project team talked about project scope and activities, and other participants of the event mentioned it as an example of a continuous LIFE project.

Communication expert of the project Rita Norvaisaite says: “Most of all, I am glad that I met the representative of one LIFE project from Poland – Michal Miazga. He is working with wetland restoration and water level management in historic breeding territories of the aquatic warbler. We discussed potential cooperation. I am looking forward to seeing the results of this experience exchange”.

The aim of the event was to encourage new organizations to apply for the LIFE program. Additionally, the fair was dedicated to the 25th birthday of the LIFE program.
