Greeting of Aquatic warblers took on a different format in 2019. This year we’ve met not in Nemunas Delta, but in Žuvintas and greeted not Aquatic warblers, who came back from wintering sites in Africa, but the juveniles who were brought from Belarus to Lithuania. During the event, visitors were catching food for growing little birds at Directorate of Žuvintas Biosphere Reserve, watched their feeding process, and even took part in the transfer of the last chicks from the cages to the special aviaries in the peatland. There was also an acquaintance with various nature conservation activities in Žuvintas Biosphere Reserve, bird watching and special games for young nature rangers.
