In these days, preparations were being made to move the baby-birds to outdoor aviaries in the fenmire and for weekend events. After some extremely windy and rainy days on Friday we managed to move the first 6 cages to the swamp and on Saturday morning to open the cages’ doors and release the birds to the aviaries. On Friday there was a cafe scientifique discussion in Alytus bar and on Saturday – open day in Žuvintas Biosphere Reserve. The last 4 families of birds were moved to the swamp during the last event.
